NAS – And Jesus {began} to say, as He taught in the temple, ""How {is it that} the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David?
NA26 – Καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς (5679) ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἔλεγεν (5707) διδάσκων (5723) ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ, Πῶς λέγουσιν (5719) οἱ γραμματεῖς ὅτι ὁ Χριστὸς υἱὸς Δαυίδ ἐστιν; (5748)
WH – και αποκριθεις (5679) ο ιησους ελεγεν (5707) διδασκων (5723) εν τω ιερω πως λεγουσιν (5719) οι γραμματεις οτι ο χριστος υιος δαυιδ εστιν (5719)

NAS – ""David himself calls Him 'Lord'; so in what sense is He his son?" And the large crowd enjoyed listening to Him.
